A spell is cast, which destroys the other two Lesser Essences, and creates a Greater Essence. This spell here--step two--is the spell that gets listed here on Wowhead. I've found the best way to generate GEs or IDs is by crafting Wizardweave Turbans from runecloth, a star ruby, and a rune thread. I find Turbans more profitable than shoulders because when a Turban des into Greater Eternals it always disenchants into either 2 or 3, never just one. When it drops illusion dust, you get 2, 3, 4, or 5.
So a quick example: if runecloth is 20s per piece, and star rubies are 4g each and rune thread are 50s each, then your cost to make the turban is 10g50s.
If illusion dust sells for 3g and Greater Eternals sell for 15g, then your average take from a disenchant is The trick is finding enough runecloth and star rubies. My server goes through waves.
I can often find runecloth for as low as 6s per piece in stacks of 20, but I average 15s per piece. When I first discovered this, star rubies were selling for 1g50s but now they're up to 4g for an average ruby. I get occasional droughts of reasonably priced runecloth now that most folks are 70,but I get through those droughts by farming my own or just waiting till prices cycle back down.
Fortunately about once per week I've been able to get full stacks of rubies at reasonable prices, but your results may vary. Comment by kaspar where can i find it? There are lots of people running Strath etc now, willing to get rid of some green weapons on AH for much lower prices than what you can fetch for selling these.

I started to solo this boss with my survival hunter at lvl 70, in Northrend greenies: never died once. Just keep in mind to clear protectors in the courtyard before aggroing the boss the big walking trees, not the small ones.
Tendris drops a green staff or a green shield that disenchants into 2 Greater Eternal Essence. If you're really unlucky! PS: This is only doable if the AQ-event is still going on your server.

Runecloth Headband to later disenchant to get even more. It's recomended that a Paladin or Death Knight do the farming, because the mobs are pretty big and a lot of caster clothies don't do so well.
A Shaman would also be prefered but not so much a Hunter. I'm currently on my way to Dire Maul North to see what's up there, but note - Strat and Scholo are no longer good sources of Greater Eternals. Edit - Dire Maul North, everything is also in the mid to high level 40 bracket.

Farming the Aucton House is much easier and proffitable; I just buy low and sell high! Lots of players don't even know what they have in the way of weapons, armor or the essences themselves, and will often just throw them out there and let the default settings do the work so they can get back to whatever they were doing. If these are friendly to you.. The price on the first reputation level will be 13g. And the best.. The rest is common sense. I maked 3k in 2 Hours. But dont flame the market with the Essences..

Oh it's lesser essence, this makes it useless Greater essences can go up to 20g in magic moments but it's still less than you pay at exalted I play on realm, that is full all time, it is even filled with fanclubbers all time, yeah nihilum fanclubbers, and the prices on AH are very high, and still those dont go for a crazy price like 30g Nice, these essences on my server are sold for gold.
