I bought all the items for the spire, every single one, it even said so in my quest journal. It told me to travel there and I did. However when I went inside the spire, however, the main revolving stone door never opened. This is my 3rd time playing through the game with the spire and this has never happened before. To make things WORSE, I went back and attempted to resell the items for the spire to the women Her name is to complex for me to remember at the moment so I could re-buy them and maybe then the spire door would open.
However that made the things disappear. Now I not only dont have any of the items for the spire in my inventory but the door still wont open Oh yeah and this is for the so consol commands wont work Not sure what to make of this, but I seem to be suffering from the mod load order bug described in the article.
Mystic Emporium is always locked, and Aurelinwae won't sell me anything. Anyone know what's up with this? The door is lock, the characters inside the shop no have greetings I Don't Have Greetings and i can't buy nothing, how can i fix this bug? I found a way that fixed mine. I simply bought another Plug in.
The old man with the white robe has gone and the shop is not locked any more. Hope this helps guys. Hello, I found this section and I found a fix. Simply open up your construction set and open the data file Battlehorn Castle and nothing else.
Change the owner to Calindil same with the Quarters of the Mystic Emporium and the basement. Save and your done. If the store is still locked, Simply lock pick the door open AND the quarters, leave the place and your done. Now Only do this if my first solution did not work. My first solution however, Does make it so you cant randomly steal the shops items and not get punished so do my first solution first then on top of that do my second solution if my first solution alone wont do it.
To get rid of this glitch, i simply deleted battlehorn castle, and then re-installed it. I've tried many times installing battlehorn castle first and it always creates this glitch. With the spire installed first, the glitch wont show up. I was handling the situation with the permanently locked door by unlocking it in the console, but after doing that for a while, the two people inside there decided they hated me!
I am treated as a trespasser, and they both attack me very quickly, even during business hours. This of course makes the store impossible to use. Oddly, when I meet either one of them outside the store, for instance in the Merchant's Inn, they are friendly as usual. If you've gotten in to the shop and they still won't offer the barter option, make sure the merchants are down stairs.
I personally had to push the woman down the stairs in order to buy parts for the add-on. I've reverted this , because the mod clearly works for some unless the patch notes have specifically removed this fix or something. I don't know if anybody knows this, but I believe I have figured out why the uomp for frostcraig might not work for some people.
First off, I have all dlcs and the uop fixes to patch them and uop for vanilla. I also clean all of the dlcs with tes4edit. I still had the locked door bug. The main trading room is located on the ground floor and consists of a counter and a display of alchemy apparatus , scrolls , soul gems , and books.
The room is spacious and dimly lit by several candles even though some natural lighting breaks through many of the windows.
The front door opens to the sight of the huge counter where Calindil can be found every day between 8am and 8pm.
On a small podium, there's a novice alembic and next to that, there is a copy of a Mysticism skill book , namely Hannibal Traven 's The Black Arts on Trial.
Following the desk, past some scales and weights , are seven soul gems on display—five petty, one lesser, and one common—and two novice mortar and pestles and a calcinator. At the end of the counter, a writing desk contains clutter and the occasional book, but there are two retorts sitting on top, as well as two scrolls: one absorb skill: Conjuration and one absorb willpower.
Also on display are a handbill from the Mystic Emporium and a shopping list. In the northeastern corner, a table holds a pair of fortify fatigue pants and feather shoes , both of which become legally available when your Mercantile skill reaches Also, arranged around a podium, there are more soul gems, six petty and two lesser. Rounding off, there are three copies of Fundaments of Alchemy.
On the next table sit six magical scrolls: beguiling touch , flare , damage fatigue , serenity , another one of absorb willpower, and a scroll of absorb skill: Conjuration. Against the southern wall, behind the desk, a set of shelves reveals six scrolls, which incidentally hold the exact same magic powers as those on the table. The private quarters consist of two rooms separated by a wooden door, which makes a dining area and a bedroom.
Next to the door, some shelves hold three flawed rubies , a copy of Azura and the Box , as well as some more common books and clutter. Following the wall, a small dining table reveals two apples and a bottle of cheap wine. The cupboard opposite the wooden door contains food while the chest a safe container in the alcove has a chance of some silverware and gold.
The cupboard here contains clutter, as does the sack on the floor, while the sack on top of the cupboard holds clothing. These two sacks do not respawn. Return to IV - Oblivion. Mystic Emporium always locked » Tue Jul 05, am. This has several consequences: The entrance to the store is permanently locked.
You can unlock the door using spells or lockpicking , at which point entering the store is not considered to be trespassing although the act of unlocking the door will still place a bounty on you. At 8 pm every night Calindil will relock the door; he will try to kick you out of the store if you are there at closing time although after he has locked the door he doesn't care if you reenter.
